Due to recent developments and temporary airspace restrictions in the Middle East, Emirates Courier Express has temporarily paused the booking and acceptance of new shipments.
UPS
UPS services are impacted, and service disruptions are to be expected. This particularly affects shipments to and from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Eritrea, Ethiopia, India, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Zambia.
UPS is closely monitoring the situation, and have implemented contingency plans to ensure shipments reach their final destinations as quickly as circumstances permit.
Impacted shipments will carry the exception code C5 – Emergency.

Flights to and from the Middle East, including Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia, have been affected, resulting in potential delays for shipments to, from, or transiting through the region.
Operations in Israel continue in line with local authorities’ guidance, with contingency measures in place for exports.

DHL is monitoring the situation in the Middle East, adjusting routes to reduce disruption, and prioritising employee safety amid widespread airspace closures affecting cargo and passenger flights.
Elevated Risk surcharges now apply to shipments to and from Israel (effective March 3, 2026) and to Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar (effective March 5, 2026), until further notice.
