DHL eCommerce to replace DHL Parcel UK

DHL eCommerce will be the new name of DHL Parcel UK. DHL says the update more accurately captures the company's primary objectives. Three new sites have also been launched in conjunction with the new name to facilitate further expansion.

DHL eCommerce UK CEO Peter Fuller stated that "the renaming to DHL eCommerce ensures consistent brand visibility and identity across all countries in which we operate and even better reflects our division's business activities and strategy."

An investment of £18.4 million will be made at the three newly announced sites in Coventry, Kidderminster, and Preston.

Of the three, the Coventry depot is the largest, at 7,432m2. 80 new positions will be created by the location and hold twice as many loading bays as previous sites.

These new depots are a part of a bigger plan to invest £482 million in DHL's UK operations. Moreover, later in the summer of 2024, they plan to open other hubs.
