The air and sea freight branch of DHL, DHL Global Forwarding has renewed its status as the official logistics partner of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, the world’s fastest motor sport series.
The world championship features entails races between the world’s best race pilots in a pure motorsport competition that combines speed, skills and precision. After a three year break, the first event of the new season took place last Friday 28th February in Abu Dhabi and a further eight races on three continents will take place throughout the year.
Following a previous three year relationship with the Championship, DHL began a new partnership last month. The company will manage the transportation of lightweight racing planes, spare parts, fuel and other racing equipment, delivering it worldwide via specialist air, ocean and road freight.
